Why this site exists
Search for any workshop machine and you will find twenty pages that read the same, because they were written from the same spec sheet by people who never plugged the thing in.
That is the gap this site was built to fill. Not more opinions — more evidence. A review here is worth reading only if it tells you something you could not have learned from the product page.
What we cover
Woodworking and workshop equipment for the serious hobbyist and the small professional shop: machines, cutting tools, dust management, and the software that plans the work before the first cut.
We deliberately do not cover everything. A site that reviews table saws one week and kitchen blenders the next is a traffic business, not a workshop publication.
Who writes this

We would rather state a limit than imply an expertise we do not have. Where a review touches something outside our direct experience, we say so and, when possible, we ask someone who does the work daily.
Independence
No manufacturer funds this site, sees a review before publication, or has any influence over a verdict. The site is supported by affiliate commissions, which are disclosed on every page that carries them and explained in full on the disclosure page.
